It's meant to be used in Excel (duh) and is completely fillable. Mess around, have fun, enjoy never having to calculate the horror yourself again xD If you see anything that's broken let me know. If you cannot tell we've had a lot of versions of this char sheet and never really stop improving it. If I come up with others I will let you know
Late replying to this but I have a similar character sheet in Google Excel that I can share. I'm not quite sure how much updating it would need. It's been awhile since we've had a game in this area (Since Archer and all of the other play-testers moved away T.T ) Once you click the link, go to file and Make a Copy and save it to your own folder somewhere to use as you please!
I actually like that sheet, really...really a lot going on with it xD Man that musta took time. Works great as long as you use it in google docs but man does it not work in excel xD Thanks for the sheet though, I'm gonna keep this one :)
I made a character sheet for google docs recently. It's a bit different than the set you all have posted, it's more for keeping track of numbers and doing as much automatically as possible, and leaves little room for flavor; that part is up to you. basically, anything with a number by default is auto-calculated. Not perfect, I know, but by far the best option I have.
I had to decide whether to give enough space for late-game, or fit it all on one screen. After trying for a while I realized there was simply too much even for a high resolution monitor, so I organized it roughly by priority and made things a minimum size. Fortunately, you can keep writing beyond the bounds of the boxes, but things with rows will, of course, run short eventually. I'm considering set of expansion slots at the bottom for extra inventory, skills/spells, and other things like that.
Ya but for the most part your sheet works really well for intro players. Because it's relatively simple and well laid out without any tabs or other screens to cycle through, which admittedly a lot of the other sheets (including my own) fail to do. It's all around good for making the introduction to the system painless. So thank you.
Okay I love your character sheet, my only sadness is it's stuck in Google Docs, I woulda been so happy to have an actual Excel file for this but it does not download properly :( Ah well still was very well done Mathadar.
Also love the initiative sheet, stole the initiative sheet, will be adding to the initiative sheet. Thank you
